Bought the groupon. Ordered takeout. It was ready when we arrived. Service was friendly. Wish I looked at the food before arriving home. The lettuce in the Greek salad was brown and old looking. Not very appetizing. . The lamb was very salty and the sauce did not have much flavor. I asked for "well cooked" fries and that's what I got. Won't do that again.

I bought a groupon. I used it for lunch today. The gyro was very very good. The fries were average. I'd like to try the chicken gyro. I'll be back for sure.

In short: a little pricey, decent gyros, skip the fries. This is a new location and not having experienced one before we stopped in to give it a try. The service was timely, though not as quick as I would have expected. In their defense, they posted a sign reading "this is not fast food." We ordered two traditional gyros and a side of fries. Cost: $16 and change. The fries were brought out to us first, and were probably the most disappointing thing about our meal. They had no flavor or originality... and what were we thinking ordering fries at a Greek place anyways? The gyros on the other hand were good - average compared to what you would find at any other place that makes gyros, only larger. Definitely filling. The atmosphere and ambiance of the location could use a lot of work. It's very sterile and uninviting. We decided they need some new lighting, some artwork, decorations, or someone who gave a care about any of the above. Overall it was good to try once. I'd go back for lunches if the prices weren't as high as they are.

Good service and a powerful gyro, pita size was kind of small, which meant you had to eat most of it with utensils then half way through the meal, you could pick it up and eat it sandwich style. The service was good and the gyros came out pretty fast. I guess they have a fat man gyro challenge with 7 gyro's content and 3 pittas and if you win the meal is free and you get a shirt... Makes the place seem a little authentic and traditional. Vegetables on the gyro was just a mound of lettuce and tomatoes wish there was a little more veggie variety not a big deal tho. I'd recommend the traditional sandwich here not an amazing gyro but pretty good 7/10.

I cashed in a Groupon to give this place a try. There is good and bad. Let's just say I was satisfied but don't know that I would go out of my way to return. Ordered the traditional gyro, small Greek salad, tater tots and baklava. I wonder if some of my concerns can be attributed to the fact that I arrived about an hour or so before close. But still, that's really not an excuse. The gyro was good and filled with lots of meat. So much so that I could have used some more sauce. Or maybe I needed more sauce because the meat was a bit dry. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce even though it was to be a mix. And they could have been a bit more generous with the feta. The baklava was sweet and delicious. I know the tater tots are random but when I see tater tots on the menu I have to say yes. And they were probably the best part of the meal. If I decide to go back, it will probably be mid-day, when they are busier and the meat is hopefully less dry. The prices didn't seem too outrageous once I saw the portions I definitely wouldn't recommend the salad.

I tried to go here twice in the last week, but the lights were off. Tonight I went there and got out of the car and noticed a sign on the door that said something like, "Regrettably, today was our last day of business". What? Such a shame. I was really excited about the new Simple Greek concept.

Being that it's the only place in Cranberry to get a gyro, it is fortunate that they craft a decent one. Quite substantial.
